Looking to the future: artificial intelligence as the next step in skin analysis
From Q3 of this year, the Magnosco Magnos app will be enhanced with idea® – an AI-powered software solution for the analysis of pigmented skin lesions. idea® is provided as a medical device for dermatological image analysis.
The solution supports healthcare professionals in the rapid and structured assessment of skin changes. Using artificial intelligence, dermatological image data is analysed, relevant features are highlighted and a transparent diagnostic assessment is generated in seconds.
The aim of idea® is to improve dermatological decision support, particularly in the diagnosis of skin cancer. The application does not replace a medical diagnosis, but complements the clinical assessment and contributes to more efficient and data-driven decision-making in everyday practice.
